Foam-On Ceramic with Graphene? Testing Two Unreleased Detailing Products

Wondering how foam-on ceramics and graphene-infused sprays actually perform? In this test, we tried two unreleased prototypes to find out what works—and what still needs tweaking.

Foam-On Ceramic with Graphene? Testing Unreleased Products That Didn’t Make the Cut

I’m always working on new product ideas—but not everything makes it to the shelf. Here’s what happened when I tested two wild new prototypes.

Prototype #1: Graphene-Infused Tough As Shell

This version of Tough As Shell included graphene for added slickness and even longer-lasting protection.

  • ✅ Beads water like crazy
  • ✅ Smoother wipe-off than the original
  • ❗Still needs long-term durability testing

It showed promise, but I won’t release it unless it beats the current formula. No hype—just results.

Prototype #2: Foam-On, Rinse-Off Hydrophobic Coating

This one's inspired by Koch Chemie Protector Wax—but made to be easier and faster. You foam it on or spray it with a pump sprayer, rinse it off, and boom—instant hydrophobic surface.

  • ✅ Instant beading and protection
  • ✅ No wiping required
  • ❗Needs better consistency in different conditions

Great concept, but it’s got to work in heat, cold, foam cannons, and pump sprayers. Still cooking this one.

Why I Share Products Before They’re Perfect

Most brands wait until it’s fully bottled and branded. I show you the testing process while it’s raw—because your feedback shapes what I release. If it doesn’t pass the real-world test, I scrap it or rework it.

What You Can Use Right Now

If you want a guaranteed win, try these products that passed every test I threw at them:
