What Is It?

This is a TRUE professional-grade ceramic coating that has been specially formulated with super long work times and to be extremely forgiving - this means if this is your first time applying a ceramic coating, you can have the confidence of a pro without the experience of one - the gloss boss is your friend, not your enemy. The gloss boss is rated at 3-5 years, but if you maintain it with our Tough As Shell spray ceramic as a topper, it may just last forever.

Do I Need To Prep The Surface?

Ideally, you will fully prep the surface; this is the real deal ceramic coating. Full prep would include a full decontamination [strip wash, iron remover, clay bar]; additionally, an optional but HIGHLY recommended step would be to do at least a one-step paint enhancement to clean out and prep the paintwork as best as possible, again this is the real deal, whatever you leave underneath is under there - best to take your time and prep as best as possible.

What Surfaces Can It Be Used On?

The Gloss Boss can be used on any EXTERIOR surface; it's first and foremost made for the paintwork but works extremely well on glass, trim, rims, plastics, and even on PPF. It is layerable within 1 hour, the car can get wet within 4 hours, and a full cure is within 7 days.

Is It Hard To Apply?

Look, here’s the deal - we live in a world of products right now that are extremely overcomplicated. It doesn’t need to be this way. The Gloss Boss is the real deal; it’s packed to the brim with actives and top-shelf raw materials. How Long Does It Last?

No one likes someone who finishes early unless you’re running a marathon or trying to beat the original time the GPS gave you to get to your destination. But just like with a marathon, prep and maintenance during the race are key. Have you ever tried to run a marathon without training or stopping at a water station during the race? No, it's crazy; you would be in a ton of pain, and you would most likely not make it to the end - the same is true with The Gloss Boss - prep the surface and maintain it during the race. It is rated at 5 years - there, I said it. But if you’re taking the time to apply The Gloss Boss, chances are you’re serious about your car, and I don’t expect you to apply it and do nothing for the next 5 years.

So do this, apply it, enjoy it, wash it when it’s dirty. If you see that it's losing its hydrophobic properties or doesn’t seem as glossy, add 2oz of Pure Magic Cleaner with your soap the next time you wash your car, then apply Tough As Shell on top of it. This is the equivalent of stopping at the aid station, getting some electrolytes into your system, and finishing the marathon.
