How to Apply a Ceramic Spray Coating Like a Pro

Applying a ceramic spray coating is simple — but getting professional-level results takes the right process. Follow these steps to make your coating last longer and perform better.

Step 1 – Start with a Proper Wash

Use a high-quality, pH-neutral soap like The Super Soaper to safely remove dirt and grime. This ensures you’re starting with a clean surface that won’t trap contaminants under the coating.

Step 2 – Decontaminate the Paint

Even after washing, your paint can have bonded contaminants that affect coating performance. Use a clay mitt or clay bar to remove these, leaving the surface smooth to the touch.

Step 3 – Polish for Maximum Bonding

If your paint has swirls or haze, polish it with Picture Perfect Polish. This step improves gloss and ensures the coating bonds directly to the paint, not to old wax or embedded grime.
