Fast Detailing When You Only Have 30 Minutes or Less
No time? No problem. Here’s how to get your car clean, protected, and looking great—in 30 minutes or less.
Whether you're on a lunch break, prepping for a last-minute client, or just squeezing in a quick wash before dinner, time is a real constraint. But you don’t have to sacrifice quality if you follow a smart, streamlined routine.
What You Can Actually Accomplish in 30 Minutes
You won’t be correcting paint or deep cleaning interiors, but you can absolutely:
- Remove surface dirt and dust
- Improve gloss and slickness
- Add meaningful protection
- Make your car look noticeably better
The 30-Minute Quick Detail Routine
Step 1: Pre-Foam With The Super Soaper
Fill a pump foamer or foam cannon with The Super Soaper. Spray the entire vehicle and let it dwell for 2–3 minutes to break down grime before contact washing.
Step 2: Wash Key Panels Only
Focus on what people actually see: hood, roof, trunk, upper doors. Use a soft towel like the Orange Wash Microfiber Towel for gentle wiping. Don’t waste time on every inch of the lower rockers if you’re in a rush.
Step 3: Rinse and Dry Fast
Rinse quickly, then dry using a Massive Drying Towel or Softer Than Soft Towels for smaller areas. Blot and drag gently—don’t rush the drying.
Step 4: Apply a Spray Ceramic Sealant
Use Tough As Shell to add gloss and protect the finish. Spray directly onto a towel and apply to high-visibility panels. Wipe off immediately for a clean, streak-free finish.
Optional: Hit the Glass
Got 3 minutes left? Wipe down exterior glass with a clean microfiber for instant clarity. Bonus points if you hit the wheels or tires with a quick detailer or dressing.
